What to Expect When You Visit

Many people are reluctant to attend a new church without knowing anything about it.  This is natural.  We would like to put your mind at ease by giving you an overview of what you will see when you visit with us.

  1. Our worship is simple and Biblical.  We follow the New Testament pattern for worship.
  2. You will be treated with Courtesy and Kindness.  You will not be embarrassed or pressured in any way.
  3. You will not be asked to stand up and tell us about you.
  4. We begin each service with a prayer.
  5. Our singing is a cappella.  We do not use any musical instruments.
  6. We observe the Lord's Supper every first day of the week.
  7. After the Lord's Supper, we take up a collection from our members.  You may contribute if you like, but you will not be asked to.   The money collected is used to support the spreading of the gospel.
  8. You will then hear a lesson from the scriptures presented by our preacher.  At the conclusion of his sermon he will extend an invitation for those that might wish to be baptized or make a confession of their sins.
  9. We conclude our services with a dismissal prayer.
  10. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have about what you have heard or if you wish to study further with someone.
  11. We hope that your visit will be both enjoyable and edifying.
